Why Blog this Year?

     This year we are trying something new with regard to keeping a portfolio of our children's school work.  This year, they are keeping one 1" notebook where they will place ONE  item at the end of everyday.  The item in which they are the most proud.  Good grade, very creative, most challenging...whatever.

     So, I'm making that my goal as well.  We have decided to make Leaving Footprints our yearbook this year.  Using a website like Blurb I can turn this blog into a book of sorts.  Import blog posts, edit as little or as much as I like, and easy I'm done.  My personal goal will be to add one item of note (or more if I'm particularly energetic) to this blog everyday.  However, I'm a realist.  Life gets busy, loud, and just plain crazy.  Blog posts may be short, they may be photos only, but I resolve to get them there!  Even a few items a week will give us a glimpse later on of just what we accomplished and how hard we all worked.  May this be the best/brightest year ever!
